Oh how fun it would be to have a bow that you could shoot arrows from without the risk of breaking things or hurting anyone. Well that is exactly what was desired by the beings on planet Zorp, who love to battle each other but don't want anyone hurt, so they created the Zorp Archer set. They started with a big sturdy plastic bow, with a nice thick stretchy bow string, and choose as arrows big fat long gleaming silver mylar balloon arrows that are so light that you need to cover the tip with a soft piece of stretchy cloth (included) as a weight to keep the arrow from flying crazily away. Just image you can actually shoot arrows with a good feeling of really pulling a bow string back and let the arrow fly in the house without worrying about knocking over mom's favorite lamp, and no need to fear the arrow hitting a friend because if it does all they will feel is the equivalent of being hit by a balloon, i.e. almost nothing. If shooting outside at a good angle up in the air the arrow can fly amazingly far and be a delight to watch fly. If you want to target shoot you need to shoot at something very light like empty aluminum cans, or small thin plastic bottles and you will have to hit them just right to knock them over from a distance because the arrows are so light and safe, but that is part of the fun. It's also great fun to shoot through things with holes in them like a hoop or an old bike tire, and you can easily make targets using old card board boxes. This toy is super cool at a very reasonable price.

On a nice, sunny day at the park, River learned how to shoot the Zorp Archer Bow and Arrow. He becomes so expert that he decides to explain it to his much younger friend.

It's hard to take good/fun/interesting videos of things that move fast. In one attempt to get some interesting video we attached a small video camera to the bow from a Zorp Archer set. We then shot various videos of arrows firing and unfortunately this video is the only one that came out even barely watchable. We hope to try this again another time, but for now all there is is this one video of the "Arrow Cam" as the audio refers to it, though really it would be more appropriate to call it the "Bow Cam", or "Zorp Archer" cam.
