These are simple inexpensive plastic clips that can be used to quickly close a balloon rather than having to tie it off. They are obviously very useful if you want to close a bunch of balloons in a short period of time but they are also useful just to have around for when someone is playing with balloons and maybe is alternating between using the balloon inflated to play catch, etc. with and then wanting to use the same balloon as an toy that flies around the room going ppppppppppppppppffft, or as an engine for an air powered toy like a balloon helicopter or whatever. It's very nice to be able to not have to try and untie the balloon. Of course I know you could just buy more balloons and then not worry about having to tie or untie the balloons but we'll set that aside. So if you want to have some clips around the house to close balloons quickly you can get these. There is nothing really special about them but they do the job. Oh and just so you know, they are not purely limited to use with balloons even though that is what they are designed for, obviously any thin flexible material can be fit into the enclosure and closed, you could for example clip a rubber band to the edge or a handkerchief or something like that and these should do fine.
