Tag is an active, chasing game played with 2 or more players, typically outside in a large grassy area.
A group of players run around trying not to get tagged by the player that is IT. If you are tagged you become IT and then chase the other players around until you tag one of them and they become IT.
Usually tag is played within certain physical game boundaries.
Most versions of tag have a rule called “no tag backs".
Some versions of tag allow a safety zone or rest zone typically called home base.
