Reverse Tag is an active, chasing game played with 2 or more players, typically outside in a large grassy area.
A group of players run around trying to tag the player who is IT. The first player to tag IT becomes IT and then runs from the other players.
Usually reverse tag is played within certain physical game boundaries.
Most versions of tag have a rule called “no tag backs".
A home base is not recommended for Reverse Tag as it usually becomes ineffective. The many players will likely surround home base making it impossible for the player who is IT to escape without being tagged.
