Hill Dill Tag is a very active chasing game played with a group of players, either outside on a grassy lawn or in a large room such as an auditorium.

What You Need To Play Hill Dill Tag

• A group of players, the more the better for this game

• A designated play area with distinct physical game boundaries where a group of kids can safely run around, typically a yard or large room such as a school auditorium

Rules For Playing Hill Dill Tag

One player is selected to be IT and stands in the middle of the designated play area while the rest of the players line up at one end of the play area. When the person who is IT yells “Hill Dill, Come Over the Hill” all other players run from one end of the play area to the other trying not to get tagged by IT. All players that get tagged stay to help the person who is IT for the next round. The game is over when only one person remains untagged. The first person tagged becomes IT for the next game.
