The grass roll race is an active, rolling game played outside with 2 or more players.
Okay, the Grass Roll Race is a really complicated racing game meant only for very serious players. You really shouldn't expect to have too much fun with the Grass Roll Race. ;-)
The first step is to find your playing area. This is the most important part of the Grass Roll Game. The playing area should be a very plush, grassy hillside free of rocks and other debris. Make sure the hillside is not too steep, you want a gentle incline for the Grass Roll Racing Game play area. Also check that there is plenty of safe flat grass at the bottom of your hill, away from traffic and other obstacles. This will be your Grass Roll Race landing area. (tip: your local park or playground might be a good place to check for the perfect Grass Roll Race play area.)
Now for the hard part. All Grass Roll Race players lay down on the grass at the top of the hill. Spread out a bit so you don't end up running into each other. Someone says "Go" and all players start rolling down the hill. The first one to reach the bottom of the hill wins.
In my experience, by the time you get to the bottom of the hill you're having so much fun you don't really care who wins. The Grass Roll Racing Game often turns into just the Grass Roll Game with very little racing involved.
