Freeze tag is an active, chasing game played with 2 or more players, typically outside in a large grassy area.
A group of players run around trying not to get tagged by the player that is IT. If you are tagged you you must “Freeze” (stand still in the spot you were tagged). Another player can unfreeze a frozen player by tagging him or her. The last player frozen is IT the next round.
Some freeze tag variations say a player must crawl between the legs of a frozen player to unfreeze him or her.
Freeze tag is usually played within certain physical game boundaries.
